Abhinav Bindra’s Re-appointment as Non-executive Independent Director of Bajaj Auto
The Board of Directors at Bajaj Auto has officially confirmed the re-appointment of Abhinav Bindra to the position of Non-executive Independent Director. This new term will last five consecutive years, commencing on May 20, 2025. Bindra’s current tenure ends on May 19, 2025.
About Abhinav Bindra
Abhinav Bindra is renowned for being the first Indian shooter to win an Individual Olympic Gold medal, achieved during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Additionally, he has the distinction of being the first Indian to secure a World Championship Gold medal in Air Rifle Shooting.
His last participation in the Olympic Games was at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he narrowly missed a medal, finishing in fourth place.
