Chemical manufacturing leader Deepak Nitrite has announced the appointment of Bhumika Batra to its board of directors as an Independent Director. This new role will commence on June 28, 2025, following the completion of Purvi Sheth’s second term.

Profile of Bhumika Batra

Bhumika Batra brings nearly 20 years of extensive regulatory and legal experience to Deepak Nitrite. She is a valued member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and has further enhanced her expertise through an executive management program at Cornell University.

Currently, Batra serves on the boards of several esteemed companies, including:

• Jyothy Labs
• Hinduja Global Solutions
• Repro India
• Sudarshan Chemical Industries

In addition to her legal qualifications, Batra is a qualified Company Secretary and holds a Master’s degree in Law.
