Her professional journey began at the University of Miami School of Law, where she excelled in oral advocacy. Muir participated in numerous competitions, earning accolades such as “Best Brief” in Miami Law’s Advanced Moot Court competition and receiving a prestigious scholarship for outstanding performance in the Litigation Skills program.

Graduating during the tumultuous period of the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis, Jane quickly adapted to the challenges of establishing her own practice. “In my first month in business, our gross revenue was $350 which I used to pay for a $100 virtual office and business cards,” she reflects on her early days.
