A National Reflection
In the previous year, a total of 147 law enforcement officers across various levels—federal, state, tribal, and local—lost their lives while serving their communities. This ceremony serves not only as a remembrance of those who were lost but also as a recognition of the brave individuals still dedicated to public safety.
Community members, law enforcement agencies, and local officials are encouraged to attend and pay their respects during this important event. Together, let’s honor those who have given so much in the name of peace and justice.
