Kearney Police Request Help to Identify Fleeing Motorcycle Riders
The Kearney Police Department is currently investigating an incident involving two motorcycle riders who evaded law enforcement on Friday. Authorities are appealing to the community for assistance in locating these individuals.

The situation began when a police officer attempted to pull over a black motorcycle, which lacked a license plate, near the intersection of 31st Street and Second Avenue. The motorcycle was reportedly observed engaging in reckless driving behaviors.
According to police reports, the rider of this motorcycle was dressed in a black shirt, black pants, black shoes, and wore a black helmet. Upon noticing the police, this motorcyclist accelerated rapidly, heading northbound and reaching speeds exceeding 100 mph.
Second Motorcycle Involved
A second black motorcycle, also without a license plate, was reported to have joined the initial ride, reaching similar high speeds as it sped away in the same direction. The rider of this motorcycle was noted to be wearing a tan shirt, dark pants, black shoes, and a black helmet.
